Qualification and Experience:

• The candidates must be from amongst the relevant Medical Faculty (only Medical Doctors) and will be assessed on their Teaching experience, Research Publications, Leadership Qualities and Management Skills.
• Applicants must currently hold a faculty position in the relevant department/specialty at the level of Assistant Professor or higher.
• The selection process and criteria will be as per the MTI Act, 2015 (Amended from time to time) and Regulations made under the act and approved by the Policy Board.
• If the chairperson so selected is not from the Faculty of BMC Bannu, He/She shall have salary package equivalent to the pay of the Faculty position for which he/she is eligible under prescribed Rules & Regulations of MTIs.
• The post will be a tenure-based position initially for a period of 03 years and extendable/renewable for two further terms of three years each at the discretion of the Dean and upon the advice of the Academic Council based upon performance.
• Institutional Based Practice (IBP) for Clinical Chairpersons shall be mandatory. IBP incentives and privileges will be admissible.
